Each module study is an asynchronous on-line course, which includes videos, interactive elements, and sample student work. These 90–120-minute courses are designed to be flexible and allow you to deepen your content knowledge in order to more effectively provide access to grade-level content to all of your learners. Module study courses are intentionally designed to support your professional learning whether you are new to Eureka Math or have been teaching this content for many years. In the course of the module study, you will:

Explore the progression of topics in the module through interactions and reflections.

View video demonstrations of models and strategies used in the module.

Learn to anticipate student mistakes and misconceptions and understand their relation to grade-level standards.

Take a deep dive into topics in the module, with an emphasis on how to scaffold and support a wide range of learners.

Learning Goals for the Course:

Identify how the topics, models, and strategies progress through the module.

Give examples of how the content in this module continues and extends A Story of Units®.

Gain confidence demonstrating the various procedures and models used in this module.

Explain to a colleague or friend how the lessons and assessments in this module support grade level content standards.

More effectively provide access to grade-level content to all students.

Each module study includes a printable course materials packet and a discussion guide which can be used to facilitate group module study with a grade-level team or PLC.
