Ivey Test PhD Science Module Study Series: Level K Module 1

Each module study is an asynchronous, online course which includes videos, interactive elements, and questions to promote deep thinking. These 3–5-hour courses are designed to be flexible and to deepen educators' content knowledge about a module, which will enable them to provide high quality instruction in the classroom. Module study courses are intentionally designed to support your professional learning whether you are new to PhD Science or have been teaching this content for many years. In the course, you will: Gain familiarity with the module’s content, Examine connections between the content, phenomena, and assessment items, and; Explore how students engage with the three dimensions to build knowledge throughout the module. Each module study includes digital and printable course materials and a facilitation guide which can be used to foster productive discussion within your professional learning community or grade-level team.
